This was a railing that the fellow who does my powder coating, wanted for his house. He really put a lot of thought into it. The old style railing had a Nowel Post on the first step. If you examine where that brings the railing to. You find that the railing actually turns to the nowel post at the second step on the staircase.
So my friend decided he wanted to make a railing that made the house look more open, more modern, and have it terminate on the second step. It is mounted on the third step up, but overhangs the second step. So I drew it up, bent it up and welded it up.
Everyone so far thought it came out very nicely. I know my friend and I like the way it came out.
